Rivsalt Original

RIVSALT ORIGINAL is a gastronomic experience and a new way of flavouring your food. The original Rivsalt includes a high quality stainless steel grater, a piece of pure Himalayan rock salt and a stand made from untreated natural oak; all packaged in a beautiful cylinder.

Care instructions:

Your Rivsalt grater is comparable to a quality chef's knife. To keep it sharp, shiny and rust-free wash your Rivsalt grater regularly by hand using a mild dishwashing liquid and water. Use a brush to remove loose salt and dirt. After washing, rinse with water and dry thoroughly with a towel. The Rivsalt grater should not be placed in the dishwasher, as doing so could damage the sharp edges. Please be aware that during hot weather and high humidity it is necessary to care a little extra for your Rivsalt and clean your grater more regularly.

Beautiful and natural

We have been using our Rivsalt for 2 weeks now and I really like it. First I love the look of it. It is like a beautiful shimmering white/ pink gem stone on your table. It's got that raw natural look to it. Secondly I like that it is all natural and healthy not like any of the other salt products, even flake salt has been refined and treated with chemicals believe it or not. Finally the taste is subtle and delicate. Thirdly it's completely unique, never seen anything similar. All our friends ask where we got it from. The only watch-out would be to learn getting the right angle of the salt on the grater so you get the right amount of salt. A few practice runs and all good! A beautiful product and perfect gift!

I love my rivsalt! It's a beautiful and interesting way to have healthy good tasting salt on the table. It also makes for fun comments and conversations around the table when we have guests over. Also, it's perfect if you want to give someone a unique and well received gift. Perfect!
